Product Overview
The Mitsubishi 6G74 3.5L V6 gasoline engine is a highly versatile and durable powertrain widely utilized across Mitsubishi’s SUV and passenger car lineups. Displacing 3,497cc, this V6 engine was manufactured in several distinct configurations—including SOHC, DOHC, and advanced GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) variants—to meet diverse performance and emission requirements. It is most famously known for powering rugged 4x4s like the Mitsubishi Pajero, Montero, Shogun, and Challenger, as well as premium sedans like the Diamante and Magna. It was also adapted for use in the Hyundai Terracan.
For B2B buyers, engine rebuilders, and automotive parts distributors, the 6G74 engine represents a high-demand replacement unit due to the vast number of aging SUVs and fleet vehicles still in service globally. Whether you are sourcing a bare engine block, a remanufactured long block, or a complete engine assembly, ensuring the correct cylinder head configuration (SOHC vs. DOHC) and fuel delivery system (MPI vs. GDI) is critical for exact compatibility.
Ideal for wholesale distribution and aftermarket repair shops, this 3.5L V6 delivers reliable performance, excellent towing capacity, and long-lasting durability for both on-road and off-road applications.

Our standard MOQ is 2–5 units for LCL shipments. FCL pricing is available for orders of 50+ units. We can discuss flexible MOQ arrangements for long-term partners.
Do you offer OEM / ODM custom packaging?
Yes. We support full OEM/ODM customization including private-label packaging, custom part numbering, and export-grade carton design. Minimum branding order quantities apply — please inquire for details.
What quality certifications do your engines carry?
Every unit is SGS & TUV verified and undergoes 100% Dyno Testing and Vacuum Testing before dispatch. We verify oil pressure, compression, and seal integrity on each engine prior to shipment.
What warranty do you provide?
We offer a 1–2 year or 30,000–60,000 km limited warranty (whichever comes first), subject to our Pre-Installation SOP being followed. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and is void if machining or modification is performed post-delivery.
Are your engines ready-to-install or do they require machining?
All Ziptek engines are precision-machined to OEM tolerances at our factory and are shipped ready-to-install. No additional workshop machining is required, which directly reduces your labor cost and turnaround time.
What shipping terms and ports do you support?
We ship FOB Chongqing / FOB Shanghai. We can arrange CIF or DDP upon request. Standard lead time is 3–7 business days for in-stock units. We support LCL consolidation and FCL full-container bookings.
How do I confirm compatibility before placing an order?
You can search by OEM part number, engine code, or vehicle make/model/year on our website. For bulk orders, our export team will cross-reference your requirements against our fitment database before confirming the proforma invoice.
