Ziptek Long Block Inspection and Quality Control Report Cover

At Ziptek, every long block undergoes a rigorous testing and quality control process before packaging. We adhere to strict standards to ensure every unit delivered to our global partners meets or exceeds expectations.

1. Performance & Pressure Testing

  • Cylinder Pressure Test: Engine cranking speed is monitored. Cylinder pressure is strictly required to be within 1.0 – 1.3 MPA (Standard adjusts slightly per specific engine model).
  • Oil Pressure Test: Tested at an engine idle speed of 800 RPM with water temperature > 80°C. The oil pressure must be ≥ 0.08 MPA.
  • Valve Air Tightness Test: Ensures optimal tightness of the cylinder head to prevent any compression leakage.

2. Operational & Hot-Running Tests

  • Abnormal Noise Inspection: The engine is run for over 10 minutes (water temperature > 80°C). We use specialized stethoscopes to guarantee no abnormal noises from pistons, piston pins, crankshaft main bearings, or connecting rods.
  • RPM & Throttle Check: Tested on a run-in bench to ensure acceleration and deceleration are rapid and smooth, with absolutely no RPM stalling or sticking.
  • Three Leakages Test (Oil / Air / Water): The engine is subjected to a continuous run for more than 40 minutes at > 80°C. Visual inspections are conducted to guarantee zero oil, air, or coolant leaks.

3. Final Surface & Packaging Check

  • Visual Inspection: Before entering the high-strength neutral packaging (carton or wooden case), the long block is comprehensively checked to ensure there are no oil stains, water marks, rust, or missing components.
