Ziptek Long Block Warranty Policy Document Cover

To safeguard your legitimate rights and ensure the proper operation of your Ziptek long block, please read this warranty agreement carefully.

1. Warranty Period

  • Gasoline Engines: 1 year or 30,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).
  • Diesel Engines: 6 months or 10,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).
  • Note: The warranty period starts from the date of receipt on the waybill.

2. Mandatory Maintenance Requirements

  • Initial Service (500-1,000 km or 2 months): Must visit a certified repair shop to replace the engine oil, oil filter, and air filter. Mechanics must check coolant levels, valve clearance, bolt tightness, and belt tension.
  • Regular Service: Replace engine oil, oil filter, and air filter every 5,000 kilometers or within six months. Always use qualified engine oil and gasoline.

3. Warranty Void Conditions The warranty will be considered VOID under the following circumstances:

  • Illegal modification of the vehicle (e.g., altering the fuel or intake systems).
  • Failure to regularly clean the air filter and throttle body, leading to dust entering the cylinders.
  • Use of unqualified engine oil resulting in dirty oil/gelatinous substances causing lubrication failure.
  • Engine overheating or freezing cracks due to insufficient or poor-quality coolant.
  • Piston crown melting caused by abnormal fuel injection.
  • Secondary damage caused by continued driving despite the engine warning light being illuminated or abnormal temperatures/noises.
  • Damages caused by traffic accidents or vehicle immersion (water intake).
  • Unauthorized Disassembly: Disassembling the cylinder head or block without prior written consent from Ziptek.

4. Claim Process & Compensation Details If a quality issue occurs, please take clear photos/videos of the defect and the Ziptek Nameplate (marked with “ZIPTEK” or starting with “0327”) and fill out the Claim Application. We will reply with a solution within 3 working days.

Compensation Limits (Labor & Parts) Reference:

  • Timing System Issues: U/P ≤ 750(Max100CNY)∣750 < U/P ≤ 1,500(Max400CNY)∣U/P>1,500 (Max 600 CNY).
  • Cylinder Head Gasket Leakage: U/P ≤ 750(Max150CNY)∣750 < U/P ≤ 1,500(Max600CNY)∣U/P>1,500 (Max 900 CNY).
  • Serious Quality Issues (Block/Head internal defects): U/P ≤ 750(Max300CNY)∣750 < U/P ≤ 1,500(Max1200CNY)∣U/P>1,500 (Max 1800 CNY). (Note: Replacement parts will be provided by Ziptek in a new order for repair, combined with the above labor cost compensation).
